Vision Walk PDF Print E-mail

This is an introductory program that has depth and power, yet takes only one full day of your time.  It's called a Vision Walk, and it's a mini-vision quest, a day's journey on Mother Earth, structured in the same way as all significant rites of passage:  preparation (Severance), time on the land (Threshold), and return (Incorporation).

This program serves as an excellent introduction to our work, and as a gift to oneself--time out of one's regular life to reflect, go within, and just be in nature.

This one day program contains elements distilled from the 9-day Vision Quest journey: safety orientation, a day fast, clarification of intent, crossing a threshold, walking on the land for several hours, return to a feast, and story telling with mirroring by staff.

We offer this program locally in the beautiful wild country above the Sonoma Valley plain, but we can travel to bring it to any community or group event.  See our schedule for dates and location for the coming year.  Also check out our Home Study Vision Walk, which you can undertake on your own with the support and assistance of Rites of Passage staff.
