Location:  This program will take place in beautiful Napa County, in the North Bay...we'll provide the specific location when you register.

The Vision Walk program has depth and power, yet only requires a commitment of one day. It's a mini-vision quest, a day's journey on Mother Earth, structured in the same way as all significant rites of passage: preparation (Severance), time on the land (Threshold), and return (Incorporation).

This program serves as an excellent introduction to our work, and can be a gift to oneself--time out of your regular life to reflect, go within, and just be in nature.

This program contains elements distilled from the 9-day Vision Quest journey: safety orientation, a day fast, clarification of intent, crossing a threshold, spending sacred time on the land, return to a feast, and story telling with mirroring by staff.

The group will gather in the morning, spend some time orienting to the purpose and focus of the day's journey, then leave in a ceremonial manner, to spend several hours wandering, sitting still, following the thread of heart and nature, listening for the inner song mirrored in the beauty and rawness of the world.  We suggest that participants fast until returning from the walk, when the group will share a potluck lunch.  Then each person will have time to tell his/her story and have it reflected and held by the leaders and the circle.
