Uniting Body, Mind, Spirit & Soul: A nature-based workshop in embodied visionary leadership
September 22-25, 2011 Location: Buckhorn Springs center, Ashland, Oregon Leaders: Mike Bodkin, Dana Carman & Deb Zucker Tuition: $525, plus food & lodging
Many of us today are caught up in the momentum of our lives, trying to stay afloat while contributing as best we can to the greater good. We may take time out for a spiritual retreat or an inspirational workshop, yet how often do we consciously choose to live our life as a question, listening for the whisper of our soul to guide our service and leadership.
Join us for a unique nature-based integral leadership program that deeply grounds integral consciousness in our bodies and on this earth. Together we will discover how opening deeply to our connection with the natural world awakens our own inner nature, our soul’s wisdom. We will explore what it means to truly live our leadership and embody our unique offering as we embrace the paradox that who we truly are is both beyond this body and yet of this body.
This experience will serve as a mirror for our lives, a deep exploration that will put us in touch with the ground beneath our feet and allow us each to tap into the source of our creativity and vision. In order to be alive in a way that is deeply integral we are called to discover what it is to live fully in our bodies, living on the body of this beautiful planet.
This workshop is for individuals who:
• Recognize that the old paradigm of leadership is not sufficient anymore, that our leadership needs to come from a different ground, with a new spectrum of capacities and skills. • Feel a dissonance between their current life situation and their sense of a greater calling, potential or soul’s purpose. • Desire to be of service to the greater good, yet do not know how. • Need to rekindle a sense of depth, clarity, and inspiration in their work and lives. • Want to learn how to embody their leadership - simultaneously coming from a deeply grounded presence and an expansive consciousness, with the adaptability and creativity to engage with the ever increasing complexity of our rapidly evolving world.
Approach:
• Curriculum design incorporates indigenous nature based medicine wheel teachings as a framework to explore our own embodied leadership. • Experiential learning, individually and in community. • Includes solo experiences in nature. • Facilitation style bridges the personal healing and transformative work into the relational realm through group dialogue and experiential exercises.
What will you come away with:
• A renewed sense of purpose, direction, and integrity. • Tools and a community of support to facilitate the integration of your visions, insights, and embodiment into your daily life. • An enduring depth of connection and intimacy with the natural world. • A sense of being deeply rooted in your own soul and body and on the earth.
